Principal's Message

Dear Beatty Middle School Families,

It is my sincere pleasure and honor to welcome you all to the 2024-2025 academic year at Gordon H. Beatty Middle School. This year, our theme is "The Beatty Way: A United Blueprint," reflecting our focus on creating structures that will better support our students as they navigate middle school.

We are thrilled about the opportunity to engage with our scholars as we Educate, Motivate, and Inspire the next generation of leaders. As a STEAM school, we are excited to offer an expanded selection of elective courses, including digital arts, coding, robotics, aviation, music, and 3D printing & design.

Our primary focus is to provide a rigorous curriculum that challenges our scholars while offering the necessary support to help them succeed. At Beatty, we aim to balance a challenging academic program with the social, emotional, and self-esteem needs of our students. We are committed to implementing programs that support growth academically, socially, emotionally, behaviorally, morally, and ethically. Additionally, we strive to prepare our scholars to be confident, active citizens and self-directed lifelong learners.

We invite our parents and guardians to join us in supporting our scholars. Your participation is crucial as we collaborate to make your child’s learning experience a success. We encourage you to engage in conversations with your child about learning, dedication, studying, and being active participants in their education. Staying involved in your child's education through high school is essential.

I, along with the rest of the Beatty staff, am very excited to spend this year with your scholar, and we look forward to seeing their growth and celebrating their success.
