Hyundai Motor America
Thanks to a partnership with Hyundai Motor America, the robotics students at Beatty Middle School learn about clean mobility and the power of hydrogen by building and racing their own hydrogen fuel cell e-vehicles.Hyundai's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team works with instructors at Horizon Educational -- Hyundai's partner for educational outreach programs such as this one -- and the instructors walk students through the process of building the mini hydrogen cars. Each student also receives a personal, pre-bagged set of wheels, tubing, battery packs, tiny screwdrivers, and other parts needed to build them over the two-hour lesson.
