Sports Science
The Sports Science elective empowers students to achieve high levels of physical fitness through individual and group exercise. Participants learn to implement essential components of a physically fit lifestyle and incorporate various exercise equipment into sports routines. They also receive direct instruction about specific movements and activities that promote cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, quickness and agility, and overall physical wellness. This class is designed both for students who are serious athletes and for those who are new to fitness and exercise.
