ASES

Buena Park School District collaborates with California State University, Fullerton to bring the ASES program to Corey, Gilbert, Pendleton, Whitaker, Beatty Middle School and Buena Park Middle School. The ASES program is an after school intervention program designed for students who need additional time and support to master reading skills. Students engage in reading lessons, club enrichment activities, physical exercise, and homework help. The program is available for all second through eighth grade students, and first grade students at some sites. Priority is given to students who are reading below grade level. ASES is in operation when school is in session, from the time students dismiss to 6:00PM.
